The Collaborative Computing Project for NMR
The Collaborative Computing Project for NMR is a public non-profit project serving the macromolecular NMR community.
CCPN provides:
Conferences and Workshops, to determine and spread best practice in the NMR field. See details of the last conference: CCPN Conference 2009.
The CCP Data Model for macromolecular NMR and related areas, intended as a standard for data exchange between different programs and databases.
Software libraries for the Data Model for various programming languages and data formats. Current API implementations include:
- Python with XML
- Java with SQL
- Java with XML
- C with XML
The CcpNmr suite of programs, including:
Process (not yet released): A program for the processing of NMR spectra, based upon AZARA
Analysis: A graphical NMR assignment and data analysis program
FormatConverter: A program to data exchange between CCPN and existing NMR data formats
Distribution of deposited third-party software.
CCPN distributes software in source code form freely for non-profit purposes, or against a moderate annual download fee for companies. The Data Model is the property of the NMR community, and relies on your participation. All work produced by CCPN will be made available through this website.
If you are interested in contributing to the CCPN project or in distributing software through CCPN,
please contact the CCPN Secretary.
